Zach and Heather’s August wedding was a meaningful and special wedding to photograph because I’ve know Heather since we were little girls. She is one of the sweetest, kindest people I know. She’s creative, funny, and laid back. It was so special to be present when she married a man so clearly made for her. Zach is a gentleman in the truest sense of the word and he appreciates and values Heather’s best qualities. They are a perfect complement to each other.
Fun side note: When I took Heather’s senior photos years ago, her vision for that shoot was to be in a white dress in the woods. I thought about that while photographing her wedding; here she is in a gorgeous white dress in the woods with a wonderful man by her side!

Their wedding was special for another wonderful reason. Our daughter Kyah was brand new at the time and Heather invited my whole family. It was wonderful to get to see Caleb and Kyah while I was working!
Photographing weddings brings me joy for many reasons and it’s always a privilege to capture images of loved ones. A few months after the wedding Heather’s sweet grandpa passed away. She took the time to let me know that the photos with him from the wedding are extra precious to them now. It is so important to make sure that you and your loved ones exist in photos for your family. Our prayers are with the Richmans and their family… ❤
