I was so excited when Katana’s mom called me to book her shoot! I got to take her sister Jade’s senior pictures a couple of years ago, and I knew that another Briski sister would mean another AWESOME shoot. Both sisters have a serious desire for something different than the “normal” senior portrait shoot and that not only challenges me (and their mom) to come up with cool locations, but also opens a whole other realm of possibilities. Katana told us all kinds of ideas, from “lasers and kittens” to graffiti (of which Salem is sadly lacking) to shooting at the Salem Clock Shop which was her idea! Other locations we chose included a local sweet shop, parking garage, and the vibrant Elisnore Theater mural. I just love Katana’s sense of adventure and style, and her gentle, sweet personality!
I should blog Jade’s shoot too… It’s not every day you get to shoot in a mausoleum.
So hard to narrow it down, but here are a few of my favorites…
