Cort and Megan’s Wedding Day

Cort and Megan had one of the most magical weddings we had the honor of photographing last summer.

Cort has known since grade school that Megan was the one, and their young, sweet love is a beautiful thing to behold. Megan wore a necklace on the big day that Cort gave her in 3rd grade. *heart officially melted*

The setting was perfect… a family farm where they transformed and ordinary “cow pasture” into a wooded, country fairyland. The ambiance was relaxed, beautiful, and romantic. The crew at Danner and Soli worked their magic once again and brought in so many amazing pieces of decor to create the look.

There were so many beautiful memories from the day… one of my favorites was the dance that Cort and his beautiful mother, Jill, shared. Part way through the song, Jill motioned to Megan to join them on the dance floor. The three of them danced together for a little while, then Jill joined their hands and left the newly married couple to finish the song alone… not a dry eye in the house, let me tell you. The symbolism was perfect and beautiful.

Then Megan and her dad livened things up again with a surprise choreographed dance that was so awesome and hilarious!

The popcorn getaway was fun, unique, and perfect for this couple!

Cort and Megan have two of the most beautiful, fun, loving families I have ever met and it was such a joy and honor to be a part of capturing this important day in their lives.
